In Network Coverage: Gulfcoast Therapies is a participating provider with Children's Medical Services and Medicaid. If using insurance we will need a script from your doctor to evaluate and treat. Your doctor can fax this to us at: 727-291-0043 or you can email us a copy to info@GulfcoastTherapies.com FSA/HSA cards are accepted forms of payment. Initial evaluations will range in cost depending on the type of evaluation and length of time required for assessment, analysis of result and written report. Treatment is recommended based on the results of the evaluation.

Out of Network Coverage: If we are not in network with your insurance provider, when completing the initial intake paperwork, you will be prompted to store your credit card information on file within our electronic medical records system, JANE. We will collect your payment at the time of service and it is done automatically with the card you put on file. If we are out-of-network with your insurance, your insurance may still offer out-of-network benefits that can reimburse your family for some or all of our services. We would be happy to send you a Superbill that can be submitted to your insurance. We also happily accept HSA/FSA cards. ​Our office does not guarantee any form of reimbursement from your insurance company. In addition, your insurance carrier may not reimburse the full amount for services provided by our office.

One of the benefits of Gulfcoast Therapies is that we have a wonderful clinic with a sensory gym and many fun activities at our fingertips. Services can also take place at your child's school (private or public) during the school year. Additionally, we can provide teletherapy sessions in the comfort and convenience of your own home for those across Florida.

An evaluation is needed unless your child has received a comprehensive evaluation from a speech language pathologist within the last six months. Please provide a copy of the most recent assessment report and treatment notes (if applicable school-based FIE/IEP) for review. These can be emailed to info@GulfcoastTherapies.com. Evaluations are completed annually (or more frequently if required by your insurance).

Speech therapy sessions are typically scheduled for 30, 45, or 60 minutes sessions one to three times per week depending on your child’s unique needs. An evaluation will be completed and a recommendation will be made by your therapist.
